Ufilms is ran by Danniella Cooper who is CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Ufilms she is essentially the Boss Lady, Jess Bramfitt is 2nd in command of Ufilms she is accounting for Ufilms which means she controls the budgets for each project we have, including petrol money. the Human resources manager is Matthew Taylor his job is to make sure that everyone is feeling motivated. distribution managers are Ben Siddle and myself, Jordan Reed. it is our job to burn the films to disks so that they can be sold to the clients. Everyone however helps with filming and editing the different projects. We also have a presence on Social Media namely Facebook; Twitter and Instagram.
When discussing the project with the clients we make them sign a contract stating that we have to receive the promised amount by a certain time period before that we are paid a deposit by the client.
We charge the client:
- £8 per hour for editing the final piece.
- the individual disks cost £5
- Use of a single camera and operator £8 per hour.
our most frequent client is the organisation Page2Stage who do children's parties as well as theatre performances.
We market Ufilms on our social media pages on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as well as our former clients who's recommendations point their friends and families towards us. we also have a website however that is rarely used as most people book through Facebook.
Ufilms has highlighted how to run a small business by showing us how that if clients have not paid by the agreed time we must keep pushing for the promised payment or put interest on it. how to manage scheduling with our other projects so we don't mix them up with any of the other projects.
Ufilms obtains it's resources from Stockton Riverside College, Film & Television Production Department mainly it's camera equipment and it's editing software, in order to film and edit the product.
