Shot 2: A panning shot from leg up to Connor's face showing him waking up in the hospital bed
Shot 3: Another shot showing Beatrice walking up to Connor's bed

The second scene we shot was outside of SRC 1 Scene 10. This scene entails Connor sitting out side in a wheel chair but when he spots betty he tries to get up and meet her. during filming this scene Connor fell backwards while sat in the wheel chair fortunately he wasn't injured. when this happened.

critical approaches - westminister attack

My reactions to the photo depends on the intended context of the photo. such as the image of a Muslim woman on her phone while people were crowding round one of those who were fatally injured on Westminster bridge. The photographer's intent was to show that everyone affected by the attack isis not just non-Muslims. however when the photo was shared social media people immediately focussed on her attire saying that she was carrying on not looking at the person who was run down. not noticing the woman's distressed face. Another photo of a white man walking past the scene also on his phone was also shown but does net get so much attack because he is white and not wearing a hijab. I have not included the image because the woman in the photo requested that the photo stop being circulated.
I think that the newspapers or at least most of them are trying to be neutral and are on the side of the Muslim Woman who on social media has been insulted and called out for appearing to walk by as a man lay down dying on the pavement.

PMP production diary - 26/04/2017

Today was the second day of filming my PMP a remake of Never Gonna Give you up by Rick Astley.
The first thing we shot was adding a piece on to what we had already filmed on the first day of filming . when we shot the scene where "Rick" falls off of the chair we forgot to film "Rick" on the floor in pain"

the second scene we shot was a reshoot of the end of the first scene when "Rick" and betty first bump into each other. the reason for reshoot was because on the final shot we didn't include "Rick" walking away after he bumped into Betty

the third scene we shot was when "Rick" was spying on betty with binoculars and When he is spotted by Betty he runs and trips up. the scene was comprised of Six shots.
  • An establishing shot showing "Rick" spying Betty
  • an over the shoulder shot of "Rick" spying on Betty
  • a mid shot of betty and a friend of her talking when they notice "Rick" spying on them
  • a Long shot "Rick" realising that Betty and her friend  have spotted him and he starts to run
  •  long to mid shot of "Rick running and then falling.

04/042017 - PMP Production Diary - first day of filming

I started the morning calm and ready but slightly nervous but then I couldn't find where my binoculars were and filming was due to start at 10 and there were a lot things wrong and I was heavily panicking I felt like I was going to throw up. However the other members of the crew stepped in and help me get everything ready such as providing costumes and other solutions to the problems. the first thing I did when the actors arrived was have them read through the lyrics and watch the original music video so they would know what they were singing.
while the actors were doing that I discussed with the crew and make-up on what we would be filming and how we would be doing it. then once the two actors were done in the green room they went to make up.
The first scene we filmed was the cafĂ© scene where Connor as "Rick" would watch as the girl he likes is handed a phone number by another gent and he looks sad but "Betty tears up the number "Rick" when he sees this in his excitement bangs his nose off a pillar.
The second scene we filmed was in the green room where "Rick" was putting up a "board of love" before "falling" off the chair he was standing on. (he didn't actually fall off of the chair it's what it will look like what happened when it's edited)
The third thing we filmed was the first scene of the music video where "Rick and Betty first bump into each other and "Rick" first develops his obsession with her. Betty then left due to medical appointment but we had 30 minutes left with Connor so what we did was we filmed him singing along to the music video so we could use it in the music video

30/03/2017 - PMP Production dairy

Today production of my PMP I sat with Kelly Fairhurst (2nd AD) and discussed the shot list of the music video. after the planning of the shot list had bee completed I met with the rest of the production crew Barring make-up and one of the actors and discuss what was happening. after the meeting I went back to work preparing the risk assessments until the other actor came in and I discussed with him what the music video was about and what his role would be
