Unit 4 working to a brief Task 2

The Brief was set by the local organisation River Tees Rediscovered to make a new promotional video for them showing a guided Walk through Thornaby Woods following Bassleton Creek, the making of Bat Boxes, A tour of the Tees Barrage specifically it's control centre,  a water Pumping station in Darlington.

During Pre Production of the video there was few pieces of paperwork other then some limited planning and scheduling for who will film what segment but there was little or no planning regarding what would be filmed other then get a few establishing shots and interview a few people.

Legal and ethical considerations
When Filming in a wild life environment there appears to be very few legal considerations if any. if there are any considerations they would appear to be mainly ethical.

The screen cap above shows the principles of filming in a wild life environment and the screen cap below shows the guidelines for working in the field

The two sources above are the research I performed about filming in a wild life environment. but the filming of the segment  was apart of we were given permission to film the people taking part of the walk but we couldn't get them to sign the necessary forms on the day of the guided walk because it started to rain so we had to stop filming

The client requested that the Video would be roughly five minutes in length and highlight four specific locations  and/ or events that the client sponsors and that the video had to be appropriate for all audiences. The format of the video was to be a interactive media video. the video was filmed in HD 1080 and the file format of the finished video was requested to be a AVI file

Planning
Pre Production for the Video began 28th of September when we started to mind map the ideas began to decide who was filming which segment the deadline was set for the 14th December

Shoot video assets
The shoot Video assets that we had were the filming equipment: the cameras, the tripods, and the steady camera mounts. and the editing software we used, Adobe Premier Pro CS6. the footage was shot in HD 1080 resolution and the video format for the footage that was requested by the client was AVI file. the finished video was to go on to the River Tees Rediscovered website and YouTube
source video assets
The Client provided their logo however by the time of the brief deadline the client was changing their logo

Unit 62 digital video for interactive media: task 1

The brief was Set by the organisation River Tees rediscovered. the brief was for us to produce a Promotional video highlighting all the events they Sponsored such as "bat box construction", Guided Walks, Tour of a old water pumping station in Darlington, and a tour of the River Tees Barrage. The first deadline set by the client was December the 7th. where they would came and view the first draft of the video.
The planning of the completed video included mind maps about pre production such as who is filming each segment of the completed video. The segment I helped film was the Guided walk through Thornaby Woods along Bassleton Creek. however we could not get an interview due to weather and due to the fact that most of the time filming we were walking along.
the legal and ethical considerations were mainly the release forms that gave us permission to film those who were taking part of the walk as well as to make sure we weren't disturbing any of the wild life in the woods.
The brief required that the finished video was roughly five minutes long and that it featured showing the events that river Tees rediscovered sponsored.
When I was editing the segment which I helped to film (Guided Walk) I included text descriptions to summarise what was happening in the video

The resources that we had to produce the completed video had the logo that client organisation gave us permission to film the events that the client hosted/sponsored. The resources that we already had included cameras, tripods, steady camera mounts and computers to edit the footage into the finished product for the client as well as the appropriate computer programs and software
